I have never put anything on my hair before I straighten it and my hair and it looks healthy and nice after doing this for like 5 years. You don't need to put anything on.

the salon will be the best option they can tell you what is best for your hair, go for something like bed head , or you can get cheaper ones in boots just have a look around, try to get a light weight one

My absolute FAVORITE is TIGI Catwalk Spritz and Shine, but Matrix Sleek.Look Iron Smoother works well, too.

I would say that you use lusters new product line called YOU. you can use the one that says You STRAIGHT, I use that line of hair products and I love it. go to www.lustersproducts.com

a glossing cream while its wet, then blow dry it straight down. then after it's dry put a silicone based shine serum or a protecting spray on it before you flat iron it

I dunno what's the best but I use Sleek Look 3 iron smoother by Matrix that I got at a hair salon.
