Okay my son is seventeen and lived with his grandmother but she let him move in with his 21 yr old friend whos a guy and is studying to become a socail worker.

She has his custodety and my daughters because my husband was abusing my son and I didnt know he never told me when I was in the courtroom I thought that he was lying, so I screamed at him the whole time.

Now I'm married again to his father's brother and he really cares but my son won't come live with us because he said he's tired of me calling him names (I only called him a **** once, -.-), but hes scared of my husband because my husband locked him in the closet when he told my uncle he had to do his homework.

Do you think I can get him back? I really think so, my other husband didn't hit him that hard, they only left brusies because my son allowed it to happen.

if you tell a judge this i still doubt you will get custody. if you noticed he had bruises did you bother asking? a concerned parent would want to know why their son was getting bruised.

and most abused kids will not even speak up about it in fear of more abuse.

and why even bother trying to get custody now. hes 17. and depending on the age of your daughter, if you go to court they more likely will ask if she still wants to live with her grandmother since she already has custody.

If you allow anyone to hit your child in a manner that leaves bruises, then you should just let your son stay where he's at.

You let your husband lock your son in a closet??

Let your son be. He's better off where he's at.

it sounds like you just want to be in control. leave your son alone. if your husband left bruises and you didn't beleive your son, then maybe you could use a few yourself. it sounds like you are making excuses for your behavior and neglect of your children.
go get some counseling, maybe after a few years you might have a decent relationship with your son. (but i doubt it!)

leave him alone he will be 18 in a year and if you do this now and by some slim chance you get him back he will leave and hate you more then he sounds like he might all ready so if your hoping to ever have him want to know you at all just leave it alone he has been through enough

Can we say Dysfunctional? At seventeen he can live where he chooses. And since you failed to care for him when he needed you what makes you think he needs you now?
