Just because he flirts with other girls doesn't mean he would be a bad boyfriend. When you're still on the market, you're supposed to flirt, so that you can find someone to take you off the market. So ask him out.
Furthermore, flirting doesn't make a bad boyfriend or girlfriend. I don't expect my boyfriend to not flirt at all, just as long as he doesn't do it in front of me, and isn't serious about it. Flirting is a fun way to feel good about yourself, that you're still attractive. Fidelity is all about not having sex with anyone else, and not pursueing a romantic relationship with anyone else. Playful flirting is neither of those things. Of course, when you're still a kid, being monogamous comes down to not winking at other people, because you're not having sex, so you have to pick silly little things as a sign of faithfulness.

The only way to know for sure is to go out with him. If I were you, I would wait for him to ask you out. That is the way is should be done. You can make it known that you are interested in him, but wait for him to ask you. If he does not ask you out, then you know he just was not worth the trouble, and you have probably saved yourself a big waste of time.
All in All, BE CAREFUL! There are plenty of guys out there, but also a lot of jerks. When you find a "good BF, you will know it.

NO, let HIM come to u and ask you out! You can not be so easy , thats not what guys like. What do u think is goanna happen? you wiil ask him out, he MIGHT say YES< you will go out and he will still flirt with other girls. ( honestly I think he is not the right guy or mature yet! ) but if he really wants to be with you then he has to come to you! Let him take the first step to appreciate u!

You can ask him out once. That does not mean you are committed to him.
Can you sit with him during a basketball game or at lunch during school? As you get to know him you will find out if he really is the kind of guy you want to be with.

I think you should give it a try because you should never judge too quickly just because he flirts with other girls, I mean I used to flirt with other gilrs too until I met my future wife it came to a complete stop, I suddenly wasn't interested in any other females other than her. Just give it a try and see what happens.

Mandy, next time he flirts or says something nice to you, touch him and tell him he is so smart and funny. If he says thanks, then ask him if he'd like a foot massage. No man will refuse a foot massage from a girl he likes. If he refuses, then tough luck and move on.

I would have to ask how young you are..(or old)...if it's just new, you're young...take your chance...you might have fun and he might quit flirting with other girls if he thinks you're as good as you think he is. If it's a matter of sex...don't do it...that will come in time.

when i got togheter with my actual girlfriend (2 years together) i wasnt quite sure about her true feelings until i asked her out... and of course i flirted with other girls (before we were in a relationship) couse i wanted to have someone beside me.
but that's me.
