Learn how to march, how to take orders from higher ranking students. You also go on trips, you have drill tournaments and sometimes there are dances that the school has each year......

If you are interested in going into the military, then ROTC is for you. I really enjoyed it. You may also want to check in to Civil Air Patrol (CAP). You can join CAP starting at age 13. You actually get to go to bootcamps and you do alot of flying. I say " go for it " I wish I could do it all again.
