They both: Commit Genocide, only God wiped out the whole earth.
They both killed little babies, yet god got EVERY one of them in Egypt.
They both had a taste for torture.

Oh, yes: THERE FOLLOWERS both followed them because their actions were not morally right, but because the fear of power from the dictator.

I'm sorry. I try to have respect for christians but through practicing their religion they are showing the feebleness of their minds, and if ever a dictator ever started brainwashing the masses, you know they'd be the first to follow behind with their tails wagging.

All of these things you mention happened in the old testament. Jesus was a complete change in what the belief in God was all about. You should be asking this question of the jewish population.
I do agree that many "christians" are hippocrites. Wars begun in the name of "God" are not "Holy Wars" reguardless of what the people involved say.

to people who do not believe in (a) God
all morals are manmade, even if supposedly they come from God
so there should be NO difference

to people who do believe in God
your argument is sound
but the comparison isn't
for God IS the Creator
& Humans (or Hitler or everyone else) are merely God's creations

so the followers of God follow God's morals
the followers of men follow manmade morals

Note: no where in the New Covenant (or the New Testament) does it say that murder is condoned or allowed, but under the Old Covenant there is a different dispensation & to go into that would be boring...

Ouch.

Christians try to show their obedience to God by serving God's people and following His laws. I'm sure followers of Hitler felt they were doing good works too.

I think the difference is that Christians, even after all the mistakes and sins, don't try to hide their true identity like some (if not all) of Hitlers followers who served as officers in his army. If what they felt they were doing was so right, they sure in hell wouldn't've come to America and changed their names and pretended to be someone else.

Hell, if I think I'm right, I'll stand up for my actions. If it turns out I was wrong, I'll do the right thing. Hitlers followers didn't stand up for sh_t when called out while hiding out in America. And they sure as hell didn't stand up and do the right thing when busted for crimes against humanity.

Yeah, yeah I know when it comes to Christians, the road is paved with good intentions. But we're not hiding out, claiming to be someone else to save our skins. Morally, that's a big difference.

What you said about Christians showing "the feebleness of their minds" is indeed a generalization. And as a proud Christian woman, I thank you for the comment. It gives me and others an opportunity to examine different points of view.

Have a good evening. :)

Well, technically Hitler was an avowed Christian.

However, there are many good Christians. There are some bad ones too. Nazis, at least the true believers, were pretty much all categorically bad.

How about reading the actual words of Jesus Christ, the Founder of Christianity?

Matthew 5:38-44. "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also."

Or how about:

Matthew 5:43-44a. "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. . ."

I don't see any genocide or torture in the words of Christ, there. Just the opposite, in fact -- nothing but love and compassion for those who hate and revile you.

They also believe Jews are going to Hell which makes you wonder why they even care about the Holocaust if they're not outraged by Hell's existence.

I'm a Christian, and I'm a pretty decent, kind guy, if you'd bother to get to know me.
