There is one prophecy in Isaiah that says in Isaiah 31:5 Like flying birds so the LORD of hosts will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it; He will pass over and rescue it" Interestingly when the first world war ended General Allenby came to attack Jerusalem and found it deserted. On further investigation they found that the day before an WW1 airplane had flown over Jerusalem and the Arabs who had never seen a plane before became terrified and fled out of the city. The war was won without a shot. Many equate this verse as a prophecy of that event.

Certainly there is , you just have to read it. Suppose you were in the middle ages, and you had no word for airplane, and you had to translate the word airplane, how would you? The Bible is full of descriptions of modern things and sometimes mankind had to get to that point in history for the full understanding of a word. Was Elijah carried away in a fiery chariot? Or because of the understanding of the description, was it a Space Shuttle?

I don't think so, but there was something flying around better than an airplane in Ezekiel 1.

There are verses that can be interpreted as actual flying vehicles. Two interesting books about this are "Gods from outer space" and " Chariots of the gods."
