From what I understand "Muhammad" also had wives in the area of 12 and 13 years old. Where I live that constitutes pedophilia. Maybe somebody got their wires crossed but i think I'd rather not be like "Muhammad".

Slavery Already existed. Islam did not begin it. Slavery is allowed in the bible also. can you deny that?
But Muhammad (pbuh) changed something. While he didn't end it he improved the rights of the slaves.
-The Prophet (pbuh) said anyone who beats his slave has to set him free.
-The Prophet (pbuh) said that you must treat your slave as your brother. Give him the same food you eat, give him the same clothes you wear. When you eat make him set next to you and eat the same food. and if he runs out give him your own portion.
-The Prophet (pbuh) also said you should not make slaves work beyond their power and if you do you must help them.
-"And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which God has given to you. "24:33
-Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari: "The Prophet said, "Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity (by paying his ransom)." (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Food, Meals, Volume 7, Book 65, Number 286)"
look at this in perspective and tell me can you not see the good in the Prophet (pbuh)? if even after reading this you chose to be ignorant there is no point in arguing with you. i can give you the hadith that prove these statements if you do not believe me.

misunderstanding of the ahadith my dear friend...until you understand what you put on display, please educate yourself with these or other text and i dare say, your own pope, priest or other 'religious' figure had YOUNG BOYS in their cabinet. As for our beloved Prophet, there is no defending of him as YOU know bc you researched our hadith and verses then you completely know of the correct history and you become too shaken by the truth to say the correct information that the one and only true God, Allah said in the Qur'an that Prophet Muhammad is and was the last of them all and there will be those who will disbelieve in him and their final abode is the hell fire...please be kind and find those hadith to support what i said, for you know the real truth.

well according to the holy bible mythology, moses had slaves the old testament gos Yahweh had no problem with man owning slaves or with EVE serving Adam as one as punishment for tempting him with the apple
both these bibles and religions were created by men, that does not make it right, neither does killing or condemning someone or exploiting them and claiming it is gods will.
this is common sense and you know it. it is also faulty logic based on faulty premises, and appears biased against muslims when it is just as easy to vilify the christian and other religions as well based on historical fact

Sure, but only if you treat your slaves as well as slaves were treated by Mohammed (pbuh), and you don't forgot to release slaves on a regular basis either.

No, slavery is wrong. The bible, for example has many people who are polyamists (king David, Solomon, Saul)...and we know polygamy is also wrong.
Furthermore, the torah, bible, and koran all says the earth was created around 6000 years ago...which is obviously not true.

For starters, Bible condones slavery as well.
Concerning slavery, Islam is unique among the `religions' in its close attention to the peaceful removal of this practice. Before the advent of Islam, slavery was widespread all over the world. The Messenger of Islam taught us that freeing slaves was a great deed in the sight of Allah. From the Sunnah, specifically in the study of the Sunnah called Sahih Bukhari, we find:
[3:46:693] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever frees a Muslim slave, Allah will save all the parts of his body from the (Hell) Fire as he has freed the body-parts of the slave." Said bin Marjana said that he narrated that Hadith to `Ali bin Al-Husain and he freed his slave for whom `Abdullah bin Ja'far had offered him ten thousand Dirhams or one-thousand Dinars.
Also from the Sunnah, specifically in the study of the Sunnah called Malik's Muwatta, we find:
[38:9:15] Narrated Aisha Ummul Mu'minin: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked what was the most excellent kind of slave to free. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, answered, "The most expensive and the most valuable to his master."
The Creator has also made it easy for slaves to gain their freedom. From the Sunnah, specifically in the study of the Sunnah called Sahih Bukhari, we find:
[3:46:704] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever frees his portion of a common slave should free the slave completely by paying the rest of his price from his money if he has enough money; otherwise the price of the slave is to be estimated and the slave is to be helped to work without hardship till he pays the rest of his price."
The condition of slavery is very different in Islam than the harsh conditions imposed by non-Muslims or disobedient Muslims. From the Sunnah, specifically in the study of the Sunnah called Sunan Abu-Dawud, we find:
[41:4957] Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (saw) said: None of you must say: "My slave" (abdi) and "My slave-woman" (amati), and a slave must not say: "My lord" (rabbi or rabbati). The master (of a slave) should say: "My young man" (fataya) and "My young woman" (fatati), and a slave should say "My master" (sayyidi) and "My mistress" (sayyidati), for you are all (Allah's) slave and the Lord is Allah, Most High.
Also from the Sunnah, specifically in the study of the Sunnah called Sahih Bukhari, we find:
[3:46:721] Narrated Al-Ma'rur bin Suwaid: I saw Abu Dhar Al-Ghifari wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a cloak. We asked him about that (i.e. how both were wearing similar cloaks). He replied, "Once I abused a man and he complained of me to the Prophet. The Prophet asked me, `Did you abuse him by slighting his mother?' He added, `Your slaves are your brethren upon whom Allah has given you authority. So, if one has one's brethren under one's control, one should feed them with the like of what one eats and clothe them with the like of what one wears. You should not overburden them with what they cannot bear, and if you do so, help them (in their hard job)."
As a result of the teachings of Islam, slavery was almost completely eradicated from many areas of the Muslim world, peacefully and without bloodshed.
God knows best
Peace and Love
