Since it is so late call your regular vet's office and if your area has an ER for animals it will ring through there and they will be able to tell you for sure if you need to take her in or not. Good luck and watch her careful and repremand you boyfriend.

Oh My God. Dogs Die From Eating Chocolate, But 2 Years Is'nt That Young, Give Her lots OF Water Or Dry Or Wet Food, So She Can Get It Out Of Her System Faster, Or Take Her To A Vetrenarien. Good Luck,
Lauren

She'll be okay - and so will you. M&Ms are milk chocolate which have less cocoa in them so that's good. She's probably going to have some "potty issues." Plan on adding some rice to her food to help slow down the diarreah.

Years ago my first Pitbull ate half of a chocolate cake. I had put it on top of a cabinet and he moved a chair about 10 feet across the room, climbed up and had at. I was terrified, had to call the vet at 2am. Luckily I'd made the cake from scratch and knew exactly how much cocoa was in there.

Deep breath...relax....and don't underestimate the power of the pooch to get into things that are yummy. =)

You didn't mention how much Missy weighs, and this is a very important detail......but I still think I can quell your worries: no. She may get hyper or even a little sick, but most likely she will be fine. (although she may develop a taste for chocolate that you will want to watch-out for) If she is not a small dog you will probably not notice any reaction. Hope all goes well for you:)

No Idoubt it she will get sick but honestly i dont think chocolate is poisoness like they say, my dog ate like 5lbs of fudge and always gets a little chocolate as treat every so often and he is 14yrs old and healthy, (well he limps and hes deaf) So dont worry about your dog make sure she gets to go outside plenty tonight and you might even want her to stay outside all night if its warm and shes not a very small dog. Cause she will be pooping ALL night and unless your a light sleeper and you will wake up when she has to out she will have an acident on the floor I am sure of this

no milk chocolate will not usually kill a dog (unless Missy is a small toy breed) then you may want to go to the vet. She may get a stomach ache and diarrhea, but she should be okay. Dark chocolate and bakers chocolate is what can poison dogs.

Your pup should be okay. While chocolate is NOT good for dogs, it mostly causes diarrhea, but it can cause long term problems with the liver. Watch her for unusual behavior just to be safe.

From: Talk To The Vet
"It takes, on average, a fairly large amount of theobromine 100-150 mg/kg to cause a toxic reaction. Although there are variables to consider like the individual sensitivity, animal size and chocolate concentration.

On average,
Milk chocolate contains 44 mg of theobromine per oz.
Semisweet chocolate contains 150mg/oz.
Baker's chocolate 390mg/oz.

Using a dose of 100 mg/kg as the toxic dose it comes out roughly as:
1 ounce per 1 pound of body weight for Milk chocolate
1 ounce per 3 pounds of body weight for Semisweet chocolate
1 ounce per 9 pounds of body weight for Baker's chocolate.

So, for example, 2 oz. of Baker's chocolate can cause great risk to an 15 lb. dog. Yet, 2 oz. of Milk chocolate usually will only cause digestive problems."

No your dog is defiantly not going to die, though she will defiantly have a stomach ache that she won't forget any time soon, I would suggest that you take her to the nearest vet and ask him to take a look at her to make sure that every thing will be okay.
