it's not easy but there are several things you can try.
if you recently (or even if it's been a while) lost someone you care about sit down and write them a letter. tell them all the things you wish you had the chance to say before they left.
when I lost one of the best friends I ever had last March I went into a deep, dark, downward spiral that I didn't honestly think I would ever get out of.
one night I sat down and wrote her a letter and told her how I felt about her and just let it all out, and told her good bye. some people say it helps if you burn the letter or attach to a balloon and let it go but I held on to it.
it helped ease some of the pain and then I sat down and wrote a letter to my father (who is thankfully still alive) and told him all of the things that I've needed to tell him for years but never had the courage to. that helped too.
I also wrote a poem of sorts in Keila's honor. And more recently I went to a paint-your-own-pottery studio and painted a memorial piece to her, and currently sits on my desk at work.
I still miss her and that's never going to change but the things I listed did help ease some of the pain of losing her.
I've done the letter writing thing in the past as well. After my grandmother died I would write letters to her. It was sort of my verision of keeping a journal but it helped keep her memory alive.
Anyway hope you get to feeling better soon.

What I do is think about how lucky I am. Most of us in this country are so lucky. If you lived somewhere else you wouldn't even have time to think about your emotions. Everyday would be about survival. In other countries most people live everyday in fear, hunger, chaos, ect. I used to be depressed once in a while and this helps me. Once you think about how great you have it (even if you don't have much) most likely one always has food, shelter, water and at least one family member or relative who can be there for you. If you don't have any family near you or friends try to meet new people who will help to fill any voids you may have. Hope you start to feel better:)

You can feel better when the cause of the depression is changed. Pills will dull the pain for a while until the memories are gone but the depression will return when the bad expectations for love and sex will be used again in your life.

I think about how I would let my father down ( he passed away when I was young) if I go to the dark side. Besides like the old saying says this too will pass. Nothing lasts forever so just keep going and soon you will be going strong again.
