so when i grow i up i want to like design floor plans and stuff.. is that considered architecture?

It is architecture, but not necessarily an architect, there are also space planners, designers and a draftsperson (unlicensed)... In the state of California, the architect has a degree in architecture and has served as an apprentice for 2 years under a licensed architect... it just depends on how involved you want to get with education and employment... the architect designs the project, he hires structural engineers to do the structual drawings, and he or the owner can hire the contractor and subcontractors who do the work...

It is either becoming an architect or an interior designer. Although architects deal with all aspects of designing buildings and houses, interior designers also design floor plans as well as architectural drafters. Check them all out on the Internet for more information.
