Not sure but according to my detective friend, they are worried about the "new" pot because the THC levels are very high and more deadly compared to years ago.
I don't do that anymore, but I can tell you, people that smoke pot don't kill anyone driving and they don't become abusive as they would on other drugs.
As far as the comment from boxer, what a stupid comment. I live in Oklahoma and he just asked a question. If anyone is allowed to smoke pot freely, without fear of getting jailtime, then good for you. Oklahoma is a great state and we do have laws here you know. Oklahoma is not the flat tumbleweed hick town you think it is.

Yes it is. Possession of a controlled substance. I don't know about the sentence. Your past will have some weight with the Judge. I live in Oklahoma and I can't stand this state. They are so red neck here, who knows. They can really come down on you for the smallest thing. I hope all turns out well for you. And when you can - get out of here!

By itself it is NOT a controlled substance.
I've seen people wearing roach clips on the band of cowboy hats, with no fear of getting busted.
It might be listed as "drug paraphernalia" which are also illegal to possess. My sister has worked in a judge's office in Oklahoma for 20+ years and she thinks that it would be illegal ONLY IF you were also carrying weed or other drugs. She is not 100% positive about this.

I finally sorta figured out what you were talking about. I just could not understand why an insect would be a controlled dangerous substance requiring prison time. I've stepped on my share of them. I am not familiar with drug laws. I just know that there are lots of them, laws as well as drugs. There is a stamp for marijuana. If you fail to have the stamp, that is charged against you as well as other things. If you fail to pay taxes on it, property taxes, that will be held against you. There are lots of laws.

Yes, in Oklahoma you can be arrested for possession of marijuana if you are caught in possession of a roach (meaning burnt marijuana). Possession of a roach clip on its own is not a crime in itself, but if you have other paraphernalia associated with drug use you can be charged with posseession of paraphenalia.
If you are in possession of a roach clip and it is clipped to a burnt marijuana joint then you can be arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
