i know it was made with 2 different kind of baby food dessert. Not sure what other.. But this was 30 years or so if someone has a grandmother or anyone that might remember this please let me know..

Here you go:

Baby Food Cake

Baby food is the secret ingredient in this cake recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups sugar
2 cups self- rising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup chopped nuts
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil
2 jars baby food (plums, apricots, etc.)

PREPARATION:
Stir sugar, flour and spices together in a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 hour, or until done.

Note: This cake recipe is NOT meant for babies - baby food is simply an ingredient.

Baby Food Carrot Cake

INGREDIENTS:
3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup oil
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cup flour
2 junior size jars baby food carrots (or can use 1 sm jar of each carrots, applesauce & apricots)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

PREPARATION:
Mix eggs, sugar and oil together.
Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
Fold in carrots.
Bake at 350° in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan for 40 to 45 minutes.

Frosting:
Cream 2 tablespoons margarine and 3 ounces cream cheese.

Add 2 cups powder sugar and 2 teaspoons milk; mix until smooth and creamy. Add more milk for thinner frosting.
