my grandma is a beatution and i asked her that once. and she said it's not the best thing to do. she said your hair would be better off in curlers once the chemical is in your hair.

I think doing it with braids is only temporary...I've only done it once. Just put all of your hair in braids and leave them in overnight. Take them out in the morning and your hair should be pretty curly. Also, washing your hair afterwards will take out the curls.

You can't.

You can wash your hair and braid it when it is wet, then sleep on it and you will have quite a wild and wavy do.
