Try to call aspca about programs that may help u to vet kittys. When u give them away ask for phone # & tell them u want to re-check on these kittens for a few months.

Put up notes at your local pet stores and maybe near mailboxes in apartment complexes. You should find the kittens a home in no time. Also, if you have any nearby colleges, you could put up notes there too. Some students are on there own for the first time and a bit lonely and would love to have themselves a new companion. Good Luck.

Seriously, I've just been through this. My cat had 5 kittens, all girls and I wanted to keep them all. They were so beautiful and I loved them to bits. When they were first born, I had all these people that wanted kittens. After a couple of weeks, all of these people changed their minds. Part of me didn't mind because deep down, I wanted to keep them. After they hit 8 weeks, I realised I had to do something. I mentioned it to everyone I know that I thought would treat a kitten well. First kitten was taken by a guy I deal with at work. He has a daughter and hadn't really thought about it but decided it would be a good idea. So then I had four little bundles waiting for a home and no takers. I'm thinking to myself I'm going to have to advertise, which I didn't want to do. I didn't want to give them to strangers. Then I mentioned it to another guy through work who was actually thinking about getting a couple of kittens in 6 months. By this time I'd also put an add in free online classified. I got one response from the classified, a lady who's daughter is ill and she wants a companion for inside. Lovely lady. The guy who wanted them in six months, decided he wouldn't be able to find kittens then and would take 2 of mine. So he came and picked 2 and I was left with 1 little girl, Bella. I sat on the couch with Bella on Christmas night, patting her and told her we'd find a good home for her. The next day, I received a phone call from the guy who took 2, saying that his mum wanted a kitten as well. He forgot that they made an agreement to go and get kittens together. So he came and picked up Bella and she's now happy in her new home. I have photos of the other 2 he took and they're so happy and the first one that was taken I've arranged to pop in for a coffee and see her.

I think the thing is, you've got to decide that you want to find homes for them. You need to let them go. Especially if you feel a connection to them, in relation to your son. It's the universal law of attraction. You will get what you truly want. If you really want a good home for them, sit down with your kittens and tell them you're going to find them a good home. Mention it to everyone you know and be picky when choosing who takes them. You could bring a lot of joy to someone and have the satisfaciton of knowing that you've sent them to good homes where they'll be loved, rather than just anywhere. You wont find them homes if you're not willing to let them go.

ok how old are they ? if indeed they are kittens they have a good chance of finding a good home BUT you should not try to give them away on your own (specifically if they are NOT spayed or neutered because unfixed pets are extremely attractive to people looking for animals to sell to research lab or disection labs)
people will come to you saying they are "good homes" but unless you actually go and check them out - how will you know?? how will you know its not somebody looking for free snake food etc?

ok so what you want to do is find an SPCA Or similar shelter in your area and surrender the kittens to them.. if the kittens have vaccinations or been fixed they have an excellent chance of getting a home faster... but even if not they have a better chance at getting a good home than if you try on your own

The best idea i think is to ask around with people you know might like a kitten, or are real good with animals. Interview the people.
Good luck finding homes.

Put notices up in shops if you cant afford to advertise in the paper.Advertising is the best way to go. In your state try the No Kill Cat Shelters.Good luck.

Contact your nearest PetSmart. They are very good at helping pets find homes. Some of them have Adopt-A-Cat days; that is how I found homes for my alley cat's offspring.
