No. There are no medical studies to confirm this wives tale. It is just that - a tale.

Other coffee health items of interest:

"A study of 4,000 coffee drinkers published in March 2006 in the "Journal of the American Medical Association" found that overall, given the large number of participants in the study that showed no risks from drinking coffee, it would be reasonable to conclude that coffee poses little or no threat to health.

Regarding health effects of coffee, some evidence suggests that drinking coffee may protect against type 2 diabetes and colon cancer."

No, this is a myth fabricated by soft drink companies in the US during the 1940's in order to shift youth preferences from coffee to soda. No research has ever shown growth abnormalities linked to coffee; in contrast, coffee appears to have many positive health benefits, including links to reduced rates of cancer and diabetes (so long as you don't saturate it in sugar!).

I don't think so. Besides, most people only start drinking coffee after they are pretty much grown full size. Even if it did stunt you, I'd still drink it.

Now masterbation...that definitely stunts your growth....

My grandmother used to tell me that, so I avoided coffee. I'm 4' 11". She also used to tell me that green beans make your eyes blue. I spent a childhood forcing down green beans for green eyes. Grandmother's lie.

I don't think there have been any studies to support that theory. The idea is moderation in most everything we eat and drink. You can definitely over-consume caffeine and there are a lot of bad effects from that. So just be moderate with your consumption and you'll be fine.

Who cares, it tastes so wonderful. That dark, hot, black elixir rejuvenates and enlivens me. It fills me with a warmth like nothing else can. I need more and more of it just to keep feeling alive. I just wish it was easier to reach the pot.

No, not at all. Growth has to do with proper nutrition and genes.
