I did not pay through Paypal. I already filed a dispute (the seller is not answering) and I have already contacted ebay but they aren't doing anything. It has been exactly 30 days since the purchase.

Will calling the credit card company help? According to Ebay, "Most companies provide 100% online protection." Is this true for Mastercard? PLEASE help. I paid over 100 dollars.

I've gotten money back before for a purchase. I paid $80 for a text book and the whole outfit was a scam. Ebay refunded money to all of the buyers. My little brother had the same thing happen. We did use PayPal though, which makes it easier.

But I'll tell you this: Ebay won't even consider the case until 30 days after your purchase date. TECHNICALLY, the seller has an entire month to get the product to you. So if it has just now been exactly 30 days, that's probably why Ebay hasn't done anything yet.

Since you didn't use PayPal to pay, you're set back somewhat. A $25 fee is deducted from the amount that ebay will reimburse you. Here is the link for how to process a complaint if you did NOT use PayPal:

Of course your other option is to go through the credit card company, which shouldn't cost you anything. But if you do that, be sure you communicate the action to both ebay and the seller. If ebay knows that the seller never sent your item, then he/she will be unable to leave you negative feedback. I'm not sure how this works, but they did it for me before...

Yeah all you need to do is call the credit company and file a dispute. Hopefully it's still within their time limit. Indicate it was a fraud and say you never received the goods and the company isn't responding and ebay is also investigating. The credit card company will investigate I think they demand explanation from the seller why they should get paid and if they determine it's fraud, you don't have to pay!!

You can go about getting your money back through two methods.

Call mastercard - If its fraudulent, they'll credit it back and you'll be fine. Thats the benefit of those huge interest rates people pay.

Wait like 60 days for it to go unresolved and then file a fraud claim through ebay. If its not through paypal i think that you're still covered for like $250 or something, depending on your feedback score.

YES. File a credit card dispute with Mastercard. As long as you file it within 59 days of making the purchase, they will honor it. Hurryyyyy! Good luck.
