I would not laugh at him. That's cruel. Besides, women lose their hair too--I just think, "How would I feel if this happened to me?"
I'd treat him how I'd want to be treated if I was in his shoes. I'd ignore it for the moment, then bring it up at a more appropriate time. To me, just going bald is more stylish than a toupe, so I would recommend hair restoration or just going natural. But if he decided not to go through with the procedure, I'd respect his decision.

My pal(who was slightly-no very--intoxicated) went home with a guy . After she had run her fingers through his hair and encountered the webbing she thought he had severe cradle cap or rampaging dandruff.So she concentrated on other bits and remembers he had very hairy ears.!Her eyesight was terrible and she wore thick glasses,which she had removed in an attempt to look seductive. We had to break the sad news about his syrup.---It was I am sorry to say the end of a lovely affair.

Personally, I dont think bald is sexy, depends on if you like baldness. If so keep going and be passionate. If not, TRY NOT TO LAUGH and walk away slowly saying I have a very important meeting to go to that promotes Rogaine...he he he. Chow!
