Remember God is a personal God- going to church does not save you, Jesus does. Christianity is not according to the law but the Spirit. Being sick and not going to church does not even need forgiving. Whoever may have told you that- is living under the legalism- almost like Pharisees. If you are extremely ill, I will pray that you get better, but in the process do not fret God can be worshiped at home. A matter of fact, both my husband and I have missed church due to chronic illnesses, and to be honest some of the best times I have had with the Lord was at home when I could not attend church. God bless you-

Of course God would forgive you. Apparently you don't miss church often and you being sick and not being able to go to church was not intentional. God knows what is in your heart and understands everything about you, and He is a caring and loving God. You should try to make an effort to read your Bible and look up some online sermons for a subject that has been pulling on you lately, thats what I would do. Worshiping and resting on the Sabbath doesn't necessarily mean you have to go to church! Hope I help and feel better!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I believe He would forgive you. People miss church for a lot worse reasons than that, like I've missed church to sleep over at my friends house a couple of times but I pray at least 4 times a day and really put my heart in it so I believe He still loves me and forgives me. I'm more worried about my brother's situation though, he used to go to church every single Sunday but now he hardly goes once a month because he has work. As long as you ask for forgiveness and mean it, you will be forgiven.

Well I never go to church and I think God is fine with that because I live my life as a Christian 24/7. I pray to him and sometimes I casually talk to him. When ever I do something wrong I hold remorse for that and ask for forgiveness and use it as a tool to guide me through the same situation in a better light later on. I don't go to church because I feel uncomfortable there because of past reasons, that doesn't mean I think no one should go... I just know that going to church doesn't relieve you of any responsibility the rest of the week and I know that not going to church doesn't mean you are not faithful to God.

Church is a tool, for your use, so that you can better your relationship with God. There are some Christians that never go to church. What matters is, what is in your heart, your relationship with God. Do you talk to Him? Do you rely on him for your comfort and strength? Do you look to him for your needs? Do you admit to being a sinner and ask for forgiveness?

If the above is true of you, and you ask for forgiveness, He will forgive you.

Going to church does not make you a better person. What is in your heart and the relationship with him matters most. Only man has a hard time of forgiving.

Yes, God will forgive, he knows that a peson can only go so far, so if you are sick, then God understands. I myself had to miss several sundays due to a bad back, Luckily our services is live on the internet, therefore I can still lay down & listern or watch it on the internet.

Yes.
God understands if you can't go to church!
Say your prayers, pick up your bible every now and then, and he'll be fine with it!
Our God is a loving, forgiving God, and says whenever, wherever you want to worship, he'll be there!

Yes, God would forgive us, but God does call us to fellowship with other believers. Surely, if we chose to fellowship when we were well, God would provide others for us to fellowship with when we were ill.
