Whose Your DADDY? What did Jesus mean when HE said this?
(John 8:44) You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, = = he speaks of his own, = = for he is a liar = = and the father of it.[All LIES!]
Did HE mean that Everyone that LIES, has the Devil as their Spiritual Father?
I believe so!

Everyone that goes against God and does the things of Satan has Him as a spiritual father.

No WAY!!! Genisis talks about how Adam and Eve yielded to the the temptation of eating the fruit they were not suppose to eat. Thus, because they were they first people and everyone is "related" because of that, we are all born into sin. We have to ask God to forgive us, because he is our Creator. In saying that the Devil is our Spiritual Father that simply means that we were born into sin and the Devil is the "Father of Sin" sorta saying.

you've taken this entire passage out of context. he's talking to a specific group of people and how they will inherit the sins of their fathers.
