According to Baptist theology there should not be. The church is just a building. The true Church is in the hearts of the people who know Christ as Savior.

sacred as in "holy"? No. The church is a meeting place for the body of Christ. Of course, respectful behavior is definitely appropriate in a baptist church, but there isn't anything sacred.

Sacred simply means "set aside". Since the preaching of the Word is what is important to Protestants (like Baptists) - I'd have to say the pulpit. And the Baptistery (where the Baptisms are done)

Sacred areas? No, but it IS a place of worship and we should act accordingly. Act/speak with reverence for our Father while in the place of worship. I had a friend when I was a teen who was terrified of touching the pulpit! I told her it wasn't like the ARK OF THE COVENANT.

Any place where people gather to worship is a "sacred" space.
though you might consider the place where they baptise people, the pulpit, and/or the alter(if there is one) more "sacred".
