I just purchased crest white stripes and I was wondering if anyone thinks they actually work. Are they good, are your teeth actually whiter or am I a dummy to waste my money? I haven't opened them yet so I can still return them.

You won't know if they work unless you try them. Everyone has different results.

I had FANTASTIC results. I highly recommend them. They are not for everybody though. If you are a smoker, your results will not be great. I know dentists that refuse to whiten patients teeth unless they quit smoking because the dentists don't want their patients to waste their money and get upset with them.

I know some dentists that recommend white strips to patients before they have them bleached professionally. That way, if you are happy with the white strips, you wouldn't have wasted $100's of dollars on professional bleaching that wasn't necessary.

My teeth are straight and perfect and I didn't think they were yellow anyway. I just wanted to brighten them a bit before I went on vacation. WOW!!! What a shock!! I didn't even have to use the whole box, my teeth became so white!!! I get compliments on my white teeth ALL the time.

Don't use the paint on garbage, it doesn't work for anyone. Creststrips are better.

There are intrinsic stains that cannot be removed by bleaching, that includes whitestrips or a professional treatment. Intrinsic stain is in the enamel and the only thing that you can do is get veneers to put over the stained teeth. Veneers are very expensive.

Bottom line: You won't know unless you try. Don't use them if you are a smoker. It is a waste of money. Smokers should quit smoking and get them whitened professionally. They will not remove intrinsic stain.

Yes, they work. It just takes a little time. Use the uppers first, then when you finish them, use the lowers. That gives you the opportunity to compare. I've used them, and think they are definitely worth the money.

Any food, department or drug store will have them. $30-40, but they work great and your teeth will stay white for at least a year.
