Moms what do you think of the girls dating your sons?

I was just woundering how moms feel about the "daughters-in-law". My mom is very critical of every guy I date......NO MATTER WHAT. I feel like I want my "mother-in-law" to like me but what if she's like my mom. What do moms think?

My son is 21. He is dating a girl I know is wrong for him. I ask him if he is happy, remind him that he is very young, and tell him to take his time.
Other than that, I bite my tongue. I hope I'm doing the right thing.
What do you think?
