Pangel always cuts through the baloney. I have never said "I hate the sin but love the sinner" just for that reason. Love is love. We have all sinned (and come short of the glory of God) - I have my own side of the street to keep swept.
As St. Francis said (Gandhi said something similar) - "sanctify yourself, and you sanctify the world."

Its different, we hate the SIN, the thing that is evil, the corrupting, worldly attributes of life. The two are not comparable. Besides, you don't believe in God, or the bible, so how can you hate something that you don't believe exists?
Edit: Because I've seen your answers before, and Ive read your 360 profile. And it's pretty evident that you don;t believe in God, or the bible, for what it is. Sin is sin, it is evil, it is wrong, I believe that sin is what it is, and I hate it. I hate it in myself, and in other people, because it corrupts, and ruins lives. Why do you hate God? Because he loves, and cares for everyone, and accepts everyone as they are, sinners? I do love people unconditionally, I have made amends with all of my enemies, and apologized to people that I needed to apologize to. Sure this doesn't mean I am going to be every ones friend, but I do love all of God's children, because they are His creation, but I don't have to love the evil in them, and myself. I don;t love it that I'm a sinner, and that I have made some very poor decisions in my life that have led me down a bad road. I hate the evil in me that thinks bad things about people, I most certainly do not love the fact that people murder, and rape, and lie and steal. That would be ridiculous.

You can also love someone and not respect their choices or what they think or do. You care about them and would never want any harm or evil to come upon them, but at the same time you have nothing to say to them or would not like to see them. In order to do this, love this way, you must see them for what they truly are in truth, and not what they believe they are or the way they act or hurt others.

Pangel,
I cannot say that I love everyone unconditionally. I know I'm not big enough for that right now..and if I'm to be completely honest, sometimes I relish my hatred of some others.
But I pray that I can learn to love them.
This is a prayer of mine (most of it is traditional, with a bit added on by me):
"Great Mother,
Keeper of the Cauldron of rebirth,
Grant that when I come again, I may be born
into the company of those who I have loved,
to meet, and know, and love them again,
AND into the company of those who I have hated,
that I may learn to love them.

But we're talking about actions, not beliefs.Should a parent be accepting and tolerant of all of a child's actions, like stealing, lying and punching, simply because he did it,so it's a part of him?
We should all try to love, but I know that I am not perfect, and therefore can not love anyone perfectly.I must also clean up my act.

How can anyone say that one hates something they do not believe in. Anyhow, I can still love people even if they do not believe in the same things I believe.
Without God's standards we are left with human opinions.

That makes absolutely no sense. You are stating an anology similar to: A man with no hat is the same as a man with no soul. The act of sinning and loving stems from this God. I would tell you to hate me but love God, for your own good.

If you don't hate sin then how can you say that you love God? If you don't hate what is bad for someone then how can you love them?
That is trying to justify personal wrong. What if you are the cause of your neighbor’s pain? Say you take your neighbor for a drive and drive like a madman without getting caught, and your neighbor likes it so much that one day he decides to drive like a madman and causes his death, or the death of his own child, or your death, or the death of your child? Is it wrong to hate irresponsible actions? Or if some irresponsible act of yours caused the death of your neighbor’s child and your neighbor spent the rest of his life drunk and died of liver failure? Would you be able to say that you couldn’t say whether or not your actions had been bad for him? I mean, would you if you truly loved him?
