okay, um, ive been going out with this guy for about 2 months now and i just feel that we don't have a lot in common, i notice that he has lost an interest in the relationship and I don't feel attracted to him anymore. im 18, by the way, so its not some 13 year old relationship. i really want to end our relationship and ive tried to on many occasions but i cant bring myself to do it to his face. is it ok to dump him in an email or over msn? it seems really cowardly but i have tried so many times to do it to his face but i cant bring myself to do it. thanks guys!

You can dump someone via text, email, or IM; however, it is very cowardly to do so. If you want to end the relationship you should do it face to face thats why there in no misreading what u want and why.

atleast do it over the phone. forget over the email or msn. Just do it over the phone, especially if you've only been dating for 2 months. no big deal, what is he gonna do? cry? especially if you notice that he lost interest as well! CALL HIM RIGHT NOW AND END IT. then you wont have to worry about it on the weekend and continue to keep fishing (plenty of fish in the sea)

Grab some kahonas and talk to him in person. To dump by email is truly cowardly and even a little offensive.

ok that is the worst when that happens seriously dont dump someone online or in an email or even over the phone. give the person the respect to do it to their face. i got dumped in an email and im still angry and bitter over it so my advice, seeing as i know how it feels is dont do it.

If both of you have lost interest in the relationship then it should not be a problem to dump him during or at the end of a date.

Sounds like he might be feeling the same way. Maybe call him on the telephone? Just say that you still want to be friends but that's all. Make sure that he knows that it's not because of another guy.

Do what you have to do. If you can't do it face to face then you obviously didn't care that much about him anyway. If he has lost interest in the relationship he will probably be relieved that it is over.

you should have the courage to face him or at the very least make a phone call to end it. it's cruel to dump someone in an email or text message.

It's not kind, and it is cowardly, but if you have to do it that way, so be it, but be willing to meet face to face afterward to talk about it, which might make it that much worse.

i think its wrong to do it over msn or hotmail.... just say can we talk about something and if he ignors you or something just say its over bye and walk away,,, or something dont just dump him over email that is soooo wrong to do it like that but if he doesnt care about you and has lost intreast he wont care if you do it face to face,,, stop dating him if you dont want to date him dont do it on a date,,, just go to him and say i cant do this and for these reasons
