i have this friend, i have known her for over a year, we didnt really talk that much, but then one day i looked at her, her eyes, i got this strange sensation, she looked butiful, he eyes were gleaming, she looked great, after that i thought about asking her out, that was in october, i almost asked her out today, is it love or lust? how can i tell?

Well I am barely 16 years old.And this is how I can tell.
If you cannot resist yourself from smiling and getting happy when u see them you are in love.
When out of no where u are thinking about them.
When u can't wait to see them
when u want to make them laugh
When you repeat their names randomly
And when ya 2 look at each other and u forget about everything else.

You will know love, it is this feeling were if you think about the person you become smiles and giggles. When you look at that person and you can see them at the end of the line of seats getting closer with every step. Then when you are not near them they are always an you mind. Lust is the feeling that only when you see them you want them but when you are not near them you could care less what happens.

There's a difference between like, love, and lust. I don't think you can love someone just by looking at their eyes. You may like her or be attracted to her. Love deals with the heart not eyes.

Although I am a hardass when it comes to love, I'm going to guess its lust.
I think love takes a lot of effort and commitment and it doesnt just happen over night. But, lust sometimes lead up to love, so if you go further into the relationship with her, it could be love.

Love is stronger, longer and more intense than lust. Just ask yourself if you just want her for sexual reasons or for others as well.
