chances are if you don't have an income the bank will see that as too high of a risk to give you a credit card. however you still would qualify for a secured card but it requires a deposit.

If you have income from another source, you might be able to get a card. But, you have to have some sort of income to repay the balance. A credit card is a loan, it is not free money.

In addition to your credit score, they base approval on your ability to repay any balance on the card. If you have no income, how will you pay back the card? Unless you can answer that question to the issuers satisfaction, they are not likely to give you the card.
