I would imagine you're talking about crab lice, which harbor in the pubic region. They're small, white, about the size of the head of a pin. Also if you have them, you may have very small blood spots in your underwear. If you have them, then you'll need to get some RID, or the equavalent and make sure you follow the label directions. You'll also need to wash your bedding, and spray all the furniture you've sat in. You need to be aggressive with this. By the way, you can catch this from toilet seats.

Believe it or not, they look a lot like small greyish-white crabs - but they're about the size of fleas.

Uh, I think you mean crabs and i think they look like actual crabs but they are too tiny to really be seen or something like that.
