Yes. BUT - only because he tore the toilet set off and ATE the dang thing so the toilet bowl would be freely open and growls at me when I approach it with the replacement seat... sheesh...

No my dog is to short to reach toilet. he hops into shower let u know he wants a drink. But to everyone on this subject: My vet said that those bowl cleaners can cause the dog kidney failure!!

No. As humans we use the toliet to relieve ourselves. If my dog drinks out of it, she will then go and lick myself, put her mouth over her toys and leave them around my place, drink the water that is in her bowl, and whatever else she does with her mouth...It's just disgusting to even ponder.

Plus the chemicals that I use to clean the toliet: bleach, cleaner, etc. and it's not good for the dog. I also don't think she could even if she tried because she's too short, which is good.

No. I use a bleach cleaner in the tank of my toilets therefore my animals are not allowed to drink the water. The lids are kept closed unless in use.

No, but my boyfriend's cat drinks out of the toilet. He prefers it to a bowl.

NO WAY! it teaches them bad manners..
imagine this..
your friends are over, they need to use the restroom, and they go in to find your dog drinking from it.. gross!
not to hurt your feelings, but you need to teach your dog manners and responsibility!

No way it's a bad habit to let your dog get into and just plain gross....could be harmful as well...

my dog does this when she is thirsty and cant find her water or has no more left....keep the toilet seat down
