there is this guy i realy like, but im upopular and dont have the best girlfriend to go around with.(usualy i hang around with guys). he does stare at me a lot, we had walk together twise, but sometimes he doesnt seem to pay any attension when im around.

Popularity doesnt matter when it comes to guys liking girls or vice versa. It matters what they think about the indiviual . So to answer your question it doesn't matter what popular crowd your in. If this guy likes you he will like you for who you are not who you might be.

It's a fact that not only guys but everyone wants a popular girlfriend/boyfriend. Everyone wants to be seen with a girl/boy with high reputation. But that's not the main thing. I mean when you like someone and you like him/her a lot popularity can't be an opstacle.

I used to go for the unpopular girls at school. They were more mysterious and interesting and I generally empathise with outsiders. I think it's cool not to fit in to the crowd sometimes. It shows you are your own person.
