im tryin to lose weight in my stomach and legs.... and then tone them too... what are some exercises that will help me? I mean ones that are actually going to work.. thanks

anything involving cardio-like dancing or running-trust me its the only way to lose inches. situps will tone-and only tone-ur abs

Eating a healthy diet and getting enough exercise will basically keep you healthy. Remember, weight is only a number and isn't a true indication of whether or not you are healthy. Do you feel good? Wake up in the morning feeling energized? Are you a happy person? If the answers to all of the above are yes, than you most likely don't need to lose weight. Remember, women are built to have curves and teenage boys are built to be straight. For some reason a lot of societies out there insist that a woman should be built like a teenage boy. Not True! Don't fall victim to the fashion craze. Be happy with who you are and how you look.

To lose weight you'll need to do cardio - e.g. walking, running, dancing, etc and watch what you eat. That will help you decrease body fat. To tone your abs try situps, and for legs the best ones to do are squats and lunges. Search online for how to do these if you don't know already. To get more toning exercises go to Shape or Fitness magazines website for pics, descriptions, and even videos of some great moves. And remember, visual results take time..could be anywhere from 4-8 weeks to see results, weigh weekly if you want, and try measuring to chart progress monthly.

Well first, you have to put yourself on a diet. Eat healthy, organic, natural food. Drink lots of water, it cleans out your system.
The best exercise that really works for the legs as well as the stomach is running, sit-ups, and crunches. I love to run in the morning even though I get a little lazy sometimes, not only is it a good exercise, but you start feeling more alive and energized. Fresh air is always good for you =]

Walking a mile a day every day for a year will make you lose 10 pounds a year automatically. Also, try cutting down on calories. If you begin to count calories and make sure you take it no more than 2000 a day you will def. shead some pounds.
For toning... try lifting some weights.

to tone your stomach and legs do:
squats 3 sets of 10 reps
bicycle 3 sets of 10 reps
parachute 3 sets of 10 reps
-this when you you like flat on your back and lift your legs up to a 90 degree position counting to five going up, then down. up and down is one.
calf raise
these all helped me. just do them 3 times a week for a month!

try hitting the gym more often and make weekly goals to do this many crunches or push-ups or go for a jog or swim. Eating right works too. Instead of eating 3 meals a day, eat a small little meal every 2-3 hours since you burn calories every time you digest something.

buy the Windsor pilattes. they really help. you should buy the stomach excercising and leg excercising ones. I swear, my belly flattened like by a shirt size after i followed doing it. and you need only to do it like 3 times a week, but if you're a kid or teen, it might take longer. trust me, that stuff really works, even though it will be veryyyyy tiring at first but will get better if you keep on doing it. and i suggest hiking too, and doing yoga is calm, but will smooth down your stomach. hope this works! good luck! ^_^

Well i dont were u live but in brewer maine there is a gym called bangor brewer athletic club.. behind supper walmart... Personal trainer can really help[ they keep u on task and give u a diet kind hard but it works i swear.... Cardio is one of the most inmportant thigns to working out and loosing weight ...

TRY TO DO SOME SIT UPS, RUN, AND I WOULD RECCOMEND GETTING A GYM MEMBERSHIP. EXCERCISING IS A LOT EASIER WITH A RADIO OR IPOD. TO MAKE IT MORE FUN DO IT WITH A FRIEND CAUSE IT HELPS YOU CONCENTRATE AND YOU PACE YOURSELF! THEN YOU CAN ALSO HAVE FUN WITH IT. I HAVE A MAGAZINE CALLED SEVENTEEN AND IT HAS SOME GOOD IDEAS! YOU SHOULD TRY PLAYING TAG OR A GAME WITH YOUR FRIEND CAUSE IT MAKES IT MOREE FUN, AND YOU CAN RUN MORE IF YOU DONT CONCENTRATE ON IT. HOPE THAT HELPS YOU WELL HAVE A GREAT DAY!
