It doesn't matter. What matters is that there is a God that loves you.

You have discovered the secret. Jesus is a Son of God. We are all Sons & daughters to God. How so? As spirits we are all the children of God. We get a body when born on earth. The only difference is Jesus is the Only Begotten in the flesh.

It matters that Jesus is the son of God because He had a human mother who had a sin nature just as we all do and that He had a Godly father who had no sin. That made him the perfect sacrifice for all of our sins. He was able to sin, but with out sin by choice.
Yes, we are all God's children in that everyone of us is given the same freedom of choice. Whether we actually decide to accept Jesus as our personal savior or decide to make no choice at all, we ultimately determine our own fate.

No. Read the first chapter of St. John's Gospel - to "them that believe on His (Jesus) name" God gave the power to become the sons of God - by Holy Baptism. We are all God's creation - only those that accept His Word and the Incarnation are truly His children.

you see your using the term "Arn't we all daughters and sons of God?" in a metaphorical sense.(which is still false... Adam is the father of man, God is the creator of man)
Christians say Jesus is the son of God, meaning THE ACTUAL SON OF GOD!!!
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
That is the ONE AND ONLY SON!!!
Islam teaches that Jesus was a prophet and messenger, but NOT the son of God
Quran 112:1
Proclaim, "He is the One and only GOD. "The Absolute GOD. "Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten.

Jesus was the only begotten son of God. God showed us that the child was the Christ by Jesus being born of a virgin. We are all God's children but the children that have believed on Jesus' name are forgiven of their sin and they won't see his wrath.

Yes we all are the children of God spiritually.
But Jesus was also the son of God physically.
Why does this matter? It made Him the only one that could accomplish the atonement. With a mortal mother He had the ability to die, and with an immortal father, He had the ability to choose not to die, thus being the only one that could truly give His life by full choice.

Yes we are sons and daughters of God but Jesus lived a godly life; he didn't give in to the passions of the world(adultry, fornication, crime, etc).

Yes, all Christians are sons and daughters of God, then reason Jesus matters is that he died for all of us. A totally, selfless act.

It matters if Jesus was the incarnate Logos, the Son who existed with the Father from all eternity. Otherwise he was just another guy who got iced by the powers that be, and his death has no more effect on you and me than, say, Steven Biko's.
