Did lucifer sawthe future that he created hell for himself before God did his thing on him? But would Lucifer do that if he wanted the throne in Heaven?

In Genesis, it says God created Heaven and Earth but no mention of Hell.

Hell is simply the common grave of ALL mankind. When we die, we go to hell. ALL of us, whether buried at sea, buried in a rockslide or in a coffin in a hole. An din hell , there is no consciousness. The Dead know nothing. They are simply waiting to be resurrected on Judgement Day. I mean, seriously - how redundant would it be for God to send you to heaven or 'hell' and then resurrct you to be judged , LATER?!?! Get real.

The Fiery hell that is mentioned in the Bible is a figurative hell and it symbolizes complete and utter destruction, which is reserved for Satan, his demonic followers and his earthly followers that chose to follow him instead of the True God. It is not some lake of fire in some specific place, but an image that represents best to mankind a form of total destruction from which there is no excape or return.

In Matthew 25:41 it says, "'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

This clearly states that God created hell but not for people only the devil and his angels. People do end up there on their own account though.

thats because in the old testament there *was* no eternal hell. the things that are generally translated as hell, aren't referring to all that pit of fire nonsense.

the whole concept of a "devil" and lucifer rebelling, and falling, ect... is NOT in the old testament, at all.

theres no hell(as christianity knows it) and no devil, in the old testament. in the old testament, the "satan" is an angel working for God. not an evil thing at all.

Hell does not make an appearance in the OT. It is only mentioned in the NT.

My friend, there is no Hell in the way that the Christain Hoards would have you believe in. But we could argue about that one until the cows come home. - Voodoo

Hell is a real place. Jesus talks more bout it than about heaven.

Lucifer is a fallen angel. He had a free will, and he made a bad choice.
