No do not try the garlic, it may irritate you badly. You can use plain yogurt, (that has live cultures in it) you will need something to use to insert it though. I have used a tampon holder for this. Then lie down and let it do its work. You should feel some relief right away. Also, try taking acidophilus tablets everyday to prevent the yeast from returning. Lactobacillus acidophilus is in yogurt too. For fast relief get the one day over the counter stuff. Good Luck !

I've had yeast infections problem over 4 years. I tried everything, of course I went to the DR. about a hundred times, probably not that many, but it
sure seems like it. It never did any good for long and caused all kinds of other issues having to do with taking too many antibiotics. It wasn't until
I stumbled upon the information on this site
( http://bitly.com/Best-Yeast-Infection-Remedy-Official ), that my life changed completely. I'm feeling so much better now, my quality of life returned and
every one of the symptoms had gone.
Although yeast infection (known by the names of Candida, Monilia or Thrush) is in fact a very common condition, (as three out of four women develop it at some point
in their lifetimes), it is little discussed. Most people regard candida infection as a ‘on the surface’ problem that should be treated with creams and antibiotics whereas
few are aware of its potentially risky complications. So going to doctors it's a bad idea not because it makes you feel uncomfortable, it's because they will prescribe antibiotics
until something works, it could take even 1 year to treat a yeast infection like this.
To effectively overcome candida infection, you need to be aware of the real cause of yeast infection and be able to identify its symptoms. You need to know how to self-test
and diagnose your candida condition, learn about the dietary principals needed to maintain a candida free environment and about the complimentary treatments that will help you
battle against the negative effects and complications of your yeast infection.
Read "Yeast Infection No More" BY Linda Allen ( electronic format @ http://bitly.com/Best-Yeast-Infection-Remedy-Official ) It's about how to naturally and permanently
eliminate your yeast infection without drugs, creams or any kind of gimmicks.

I have heard others say that they choose that option when option when desperate....so my guess is that it has some draw backs but works. Other things with less negatives work too like Monistat, Diflucan, Probiotics, yogurt. One of the good things of garlic is if it is actually bacterial not yeast the garlic will still help.

You are to eat the garlic, but it won't be as helpful as Monostat. The yogurt is also to be eaten to get some good bacteria flourishing. Some people do use it vaginally also. It can't hurt, but it wasn't that effective (in testing). Make sure you get yogurt with active cultures like Dannon.

Yogurt is the only home remedy, but I'm not sure how effective that is. You might need to see a doctor and get some diflucan.

monostat 3. best stuff to use. the 7 day stuff takes too long and the 1 day stuff may make it reoccur. the three day is perfect. do it at night and you'll be fine.
unless you're a hippy....then i don't know about the garlic. but good luck with that. however, if you want to gone go with the monostat.

Never heard of that treatment. Try a one dose over the counter treatment or Diflucan - a one pill prescription.
