I would suggest a hairstyle that is sweet, sophisticated, refined, and fresh at the same time. Something like a sleek ponytail or curly hair. Don't wear your hair in a complex hairdo; it'll either distract your boyfriend's family from seeing you as really are and/or cause tension for your before or during the meeting. For example, if you do a complex hairstyle, you'll always be fixing it or worried about it, thus you will look quite "preoccupied" with yourself (not in a good way).
Also, I would suggest wearing very natural looking makeup. You want to accentuate yourself and your good qualities. I don't think your boyfriend's parents would be fans of tacky, heavy porn-star makeup (i.e. racoon eyes and sticky, gunky lip gloss).

Don't try something funky or way out. Wear it naturally and let them see the real you. Ask your boyfriend how he likes you to wear your hair. That might be the best plan of all. He can show you off proudly, knowing that you are trying to please him by making a good impression on his family.
By the way, remember to smile at them, speak up when talking and don't use foul language. Call them Mr. or Mrs. unless they tell you otherwise. Then relax. All will be well.

In a bouffant hairstyle. Wear a flowered dress with sweater over your shoulders fastened with a brooch at the top and bring a hot bubbling casserole.

it depends on your bone structure, if you feel like you look better in up do's try a really pretty up do but don't be really elaborate.
if your hair looks good down try curls if it doesn't poof out
but really don't go all out because it's just meeting the parents and it's nothing really scary if you go all out sometimes it looks like you a suck up and if your just casual it shows no fear at all and you are glad to meet them.
Hope I could help

Do you know anything about his family? Are they traditional? You really should not do something that isnt you if you get my drift. I would wear it in a nice, loose bun with some wavy pieces at the sides. Something comfortable but not too fussy.

depends how you want his parents to think of you.
I just straightened my hair and did some light make up and my boyfriends parents love me!
it all depends on your age and your boyfriends age....
don't do it too much or else they might think you're high maintenance, but make it look like you just don't care either...
plus always wear a nice necklace. that shows you are classy! but nothing flashy!

Hahaha! ROTFLMAO!!! Rosepetal, that was funny! I don't think the parents would want to see their son's girl looking like a Stepford wife. But I can just picture that image in my mind! Soooo funny!

Do a bun with chopsticks but both of them together slanting from your right to your left. That will show you are efficient. So maybe that will help them like you better. Hope I helped.
