A guarantee is a basic, standard written document that if the item should fail in performance, that it will be replaced or money refunded. A warranty is an extension of that basic guarantee which may cover parts replacements and gives you the option, sometimes, to extend that warranty for the life of the item. Depends on the item and the company offerings.

Basically a Guarantee means replacing the old product with new one or get money back within the specific period of time if there is fault in the product. On the other hand, warranty means repairing or replacing specific part of product, which have fault within specific period of time.
