In my personal opinion, and I think this is the opinion of most people with some experience and education in the world, being a lesbian is definitely not wrong. It is how some people are born and something they have no control over. It's no more wrong than having red hair or being hispanic - other things that you are born with.
Lesbians don't behave differently in relationships than other people - they fall in love, break up, make lifelong commitments, sometimes cheat on each other, etc., just like the rest of us. Their relationships should be respected and given the same status as those of straight people.
Some religions argue that for a woman to have sex with another woman is a sin. But even in those religions, the feelings of being attracted to women are considered unfortunate or a handicap - like feelings that make you commit any other sin - and not something wrong in themselves.
Even if you are not sure what you think about being a lesbian, it is best to be tolerant and understanding towards others. Life is better if you can get along and be friends with different kinds of people.

There are religious people who will say it is.
Science shows that it is a naturally occuring way to be. Seagulls are often lesbian, and mountain goats are often gay.
It is not a choice any more than being straight is a choice. There is nothing wrong with being a lesbian. Your friend's sister should be proud of who she is.

Personally,no I don't. Many religions believe it is,and so do many family members.Families can be torn apart over these issues,and its all very sad when this happens.Be supportive and remain a good friend,don't judge thats not our place its God's.I firmly believe that Gay & lesbianism is genetic,not a learned behavior.I'm also kind in awe of this puzzle,because of their amazing gifts of the arts science and music,and literature.History is crammed with the glorious accomplishments of these special souls.

It depends upon the moral of the person you ask.
For a Cristian, like me, it is indeed wrong, for it is against Cristian Moral.
But for pagans, for exemple, it may be right, with no problem.
So, You may receive a vastidy of answers.
But I ask you:
Do you care the opinion of others?
What group (religion, etc) do you belong?
Above all, I say to you that you should always have respect for the opinion of others.
"Intollerancy is worse than ignorance" - I have read it once.

No it is not wrong in any way, shape or form! We all need to be ourselves and she is what she is.
Some religions don't think it's right but people interpret the bible and things written in wrong ways. I don't think God or Jesus would hate anyone for being gay or lesbian. I think God would want people to be themselves as long as people aren't harming others.

No......I'm not a Lesbian Either but I have drawn TREMENDOUS courage from that Society.....the Gay & Lesbian.
It takes Tremendous Courage to be who you are...TO BE WHO YOU ARE no matter WHAT!!! anyone says, even though there are those against and those opposed.....
So I take this Inspiration and utilize it into my own life......Doing what I have PASSION for....For a living.....
They are People also, who have dreams and breath, live and bleed the same color of blood as us.....To them I say THANK you...THANK YOU for giving me courage to be who I am.

The feelings you feel about this does not need anyone to agree or disagree. What you feel is right.
My opinion about this is, whatever. I do not swing that way but I have a kid that does. I do think that we as humans should not label ourselves or anyone else as many people do. Religious people seam to do this the worst of them all. We need to except everyone for who they are and not there label.

People will say it's against god but it's not he is the one who gave her those feelings. There is nothing wrong being a lesbain. I am one but people will make her have a tougher life. Since many church goers say im the devil and all kinds of things. Just have her remeber you can't choose who your heart falls in love with. Good luck to her!!

Again like some already said...depend on who you ask but also depend on what your mind say...if you think you are a lesbian then you are one...if not you are also straight...it's just your mind control but if you do what people do then no one criticize you.
