I don't think so. PS2 uses a different file type than LimeWire uses and that would be illegal if it could.
The PS2 hardware can read both CDs and DVDs. It is backwards compatible with older PlayStation (PS1) games, allows for DVD Video playback, and will play PS2 games off CD-ROM discs or higher-capacity DVD-ROM discs. The ability to play DVD movies was an added incentive for consumers to be able to justify purchasing the PS2 (The MSRP was $300 in October 2000). The PS2 also supports PS1 memory cards (for PS1 game saves only) and controllers as well. The PS2's DualShock 2 controller is essentially an upgraded PS1 Dual Shock; analog face, shoulder and D-pad buttons replaced the digital buttons of the original.
When it was released, the PS2 had many advanced features that were not present in other contemporary video game consoles, including DVD-playback functionality, USB support, and IEEE 1394 expansion ports. It was not until late 2001 that the Microsoft Xbox became the second console to include USB support (USB Revision 1.1 [aka, Full-Speed USB], with a proprietary Microsoft Xbox shaped socket) and DVD playback capabilities.
Note: Compatibility with USB devices is dependent on the software supporting said USB device. For example, the PS2 BIOS will not boot an ISO image from a USB flash drive, or operate a USB printer, as the machine's operating system does not include this functionality. By contrast, Gran Turismo 4 is programmed to save screenshots to a USB mass storage device, or print images to certain USB printers.

You can't on any version of Limewire.
There is a problem called azureus(the program not the frog).
It is a turret file just like like limewire but more advanced.
Anywhoooo download the program and then you would need a turret website.(Try BtJunkie.com or pirate bay.com or Bittorret.com)
Find the game you want and start the download. It would take a few days depending on what your internet communication is.
Get nero and DVD decrypter.
Convert the file on DVD DEcrypter to ISO format and then use Nero to burn it.
No matter what you would need a mod chip on your PS2 for the game to work for any file not an original PS2 game. Have a question email me at vickash_dial@yahoo.com.
I would recommend not doing this though because it is stupid and a waste o time and you could get arrested.

It's very difficult, but if you download a torrent downloader, you can download PS2 ROMS to burn to CD. They supposedly can be played on PS2's. Or, you can actually BUY the game at a used games store. You would have better quality, and they actually don't cost that much anymore (except new, good games).

Yes you can but they will be in a different file format then a regular music file format. First you need a DVD burner. Then search the game on all types and you will get different types of icons depending on your computer and programs. When you finish downloading your game make sure it is sent to a folder where you can open it. Then right click on it and go to "save to" then click on the drive your DVD burner is in and it will take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.

http://frostwire.com is offshore. free. better, and none of the Limewire nags, nor, the hidden trackers and blockers forced on them by the RIAA thuggies.
Do the google search for the real info on gaming. These yahoodiots don't know anything useful.
Move along, nothing to see here.

Assuming someone chooses to share them illegally then yes you can. It's software just like PC software is, it just runs on PS2 rather than a PC.
On the other hand you're *are* asking us for help (in a *very* public forum I might add) for assistance with breaking copyright law.
That takes a bit of bravado don't you think?
The software police will be at your door tomorrow... :-)

you can do that. not worth the time.....to risky, and viruses galore. Once you accomplish the task, you have to mod-chip it and it is nearly impossible to do so. atleast in my suburbian area. doing so would remove any warranty you might have had on the system as well. sorry, i heard of it also and actually bought a program to make copies of the originals becuz the kids scratch the heck out of the disks. They wont work either
