Isn't it the most difficult thing not to pick at those blemishes?!
I have some good news and some not-so-good news about the indent.
It is not likely the indent will ever go away. What you've done is create scar tissue, and unlike normal tissue, scar tissue doesn't regenerate and renew as your skin grows and sloughs off.
The good news is the red/brown color will fade. That's dried blood still caught in the layers of skin, and eventually that will disappear... IF you don't pick at it anymore.
You can get micro dermabrasion to help disguise the indentations of acne scars but it is temporary, expensive, and not always effective. A better idea is to use a topical over-the-counter 10% benzoyl peroxide or alpha-hydroxide cream or lotion. You can get them at any grocery store or department store like Walmart and they help keep down the sebaceous gland oil that causes the pimples.

RE:
Will My Pimple Scar Indent Go Away?
A few weeks ago I got this really annoying pimple right in the smack dead middle of my forehead, so I decided to pop it. After it scabbed up, I picked away at the scab as it was really embarrassing to have.
Now left in its place is a small tiny red/brown indent. Its probably hardly noticable to...

Do NOT listen to the people who suggested benzoyl peroxide or proactiv. They obviously do not know what they're talking about and should not be giving out this kind of advice if they're not sure about something.
While benzoyl peroxide is an effective treatment for acne, it will not help fade hyperpigentation or pitted acne scars; in fact, they can make them look redder and prolong the scars.
Your best bet is to spot treat that little blemish with alpha hydroxy acid or glycolic acid because that will help the hyperpigmentation fade away faster. DDF has some nice products with glycolic acid, including the 10% Glycolic Toner and the Exfoliating 10% Glycolic Gel. Alpha Hydrox (available at Walgreens, I believe) also has a range of products you can use... look for lotions with alpha hydroxy in them.
Remember to use a lotion with SPF during the day since exposure to the sun may worsen red marks.
Also, 100%, pure aloe vera gel is great for healing hyperpigmentation, but the results take longer to achieve.

Get hold of some pure rosehip oil, only use a tiny bit of it on the scar/indent it will help the skin to heal and it may go away. If not down the track you may like to get the little indent treated with laser resurfacing but do your research first.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Depends how big it is. I once picked my scab and it left a tiny indent but it went away.
My chicken pox scar was larger, though and it's still here. (I got it when i was 6)
Hopefully it goes away! =)

I personally hate pimples, and always pop them, and sometimes I get marks left where the pimple was. In my case overtime; specially after I get a tan, the marks disappear . So I think it will disappear over time, you just have to give time for the skin to shed and heal again .

not by its self. thats why you should pick at pimples! however go to a dermatologist and they can take it away easily with either microdermabrasion or ipl.
