I am returning a £250 Magimix 5200 because I am not happy with it. It's useless for making dough (turns to quickly) terrible to clean and is does not even take the capacity of flour etc that it states without jumping around the worktop. I want something that is easy cleaned, great at making dough, looks good and has a long guarantee. Any suggestions anyone?

I was considering one of those cuisnart kitchen aid ones but not too sure. Must be good at blending veg etc too.

Cheers

I worked in a small tea room where we use a Cuisinart to make all our bread doughs, shortbread dough, salad dressinga and to puree soups. Worked great and very easy to clean. You can just run it though the top shelf of your dishwasher if you have one.

I have a Kitchen-Aid 11 cup Professiional and it's easy to use , easy to clean , has 3 buttons ; on, off, pulse and comes with a mini- processor bowl. I've had it for years and it's never given me a problem nor do I expect it to.
I tend to dislike needlessy complicated designs i.e. Cuiinart's

you really only need 2 buttons on a proccesor. on and puls. if the on gose to quikly then puls it a few times. this allows you to control how much the ingreadients are beaten. if you quikly hit the puls button then the blades wont get up to full speed or wont stay long enough to do any damage.

i have a cuisinart mini chopper/processor, and i LOVE it. cuisinart is a good brand, so is kitchen aid. i'd go with one of these brands if the expense isn't an issue.
