Figure each tile is 12 inches on a side so you're going to need 192 tiles. You'll wind up cutting some to fit because of the space between the tiles takes up some room, but you'll still need 192 of them.

If you are putting down tile: multiply 12x16=192ft + add 10% for waste. Then order that amount of tile.

Hawkeye is correct, all you need is the 12 x 16. However if you want the square footage, you multiply 12 x 16 to get 192 sq.ft.

depending what size tile you use,but you need enough to cover 192 square feet of floor,plus a couple for mistakes and oops

simply multiply 12 X 16...that is your square footage.
