Hmmm, you might like a Cosmopolitan.
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Triple sec
1/2 oz Rose's sweetened lime juice
1/2 oz Cranberry juice
Lime wedge
or a Wu-Wu:
2 oz Vodka
1 part Orange juice
1 part Cranberry juice
Branch out, don't need to use Vodka, although it is my preferred spirit for most nights, how about a Whiskey Sour?
My friends and I used to mix a half gallon of Bicardi Raz, A Gallon of Green Hawaiian Punch, A 2 Liter of Sprite and 4 bottles of Jones Soda Sour Apple, everybody loved it, called it the PD (fairly politically incorrect, so we'll use it's acronym)

I would suggest buying the book: Bartending for Dummies. Like all the other dummies books, it has really great useful information in it, and contains TONS of recipes. Another good one and one that is found in almost every bar under the counter is Mr Bostons Bar Guide.

how about bacardi limon? it's light and has a nice citrus taste. It mixes well with sprite.
I like to mix a shot of vodka into a glass of orange soda. I call it Katydid. but you could use light rum since you don't like vodka.
good luck

How about a Negroni.
Equal parts Rosso / Campari and Gin - the Campari makes it nice and citrussy.
Shake it with ice like a martini or serve it on rocks topped up with soda.

Try a Long Beach Ice Tea
Take the standard long island ice tea mix, but instead of mixing it with coke; mix it with cranberry juice. Serve cold.

not quite sure how to make this, so you'll have to experiment, but in my area there's a restaurant that makes a passionfruit mojito. so rum, muddled mint, simple syrup and passionfruit juice, and they garnish with a sugarcane stick. delish! it doesn't taste like a regular mojito at all. i also love the malibu bay breeze: mailbu, and 1:1 pineapple juice and cranberry juice.

How about Daquiris or margaritas. Theres nothing new about them but you can always add a lemon, orange, or, lime to it with a lil salt/sugar around the rim depending on which one your making.
