I know english (heh obviously) and Serbian fluently(native language) and am currently learning spanish and russian at the same time.
I think I'm pretty good with languages... and my experience is that I start having trouble after a while with vocabulary. I can think of the word in one language and blank on it in another.
I talked to my Spanish teacher about it; she does testing for the government to make sure people are really good at Spanish so she knows what she's talking about. She said, "If you are learning a language and start another one before you are proficient in the first one, you learning of the first becomes affected and it's harder for you to make progress."

So conclusion: It's definitely very do-able to learn two languages at once or even more... but you would probably learn each language better if you learned them separately to proficiency before continuing with the next one.

No it shouldn't be a problem. It depends on how smart you are. Because I did the same thing and i succeded. I know 2 languages but I learn english and spanish at the same time and i am doing good. I am Haitian. It doesn't make a difference.

You can do it. It is not easy but it is done.

In The Netherlands it is compulsory for all kids in high-school to learn 2 extra languages apart from the Dutch (of course), normally it is English and either German or French.

That is why almost everybody speaks three languages.

It depends how old are you,if you are a kid under 6 which I don't think you are you can learn more than 3 languages at one time, but it'll be hard and a bit confusing at older age

welkl if you are languages oriented it shouldn't be a problem but my suggestion is that you take one language at the time and do it well rather that three in the same year...grammatic could lead you into confusion when doing too many at one time

No, apparently not. You may mix them at first, but don't worry. You'll be able to differentiate later on.

BTW: what's the other language? if it's Portugese, than it's a lot easier to learn with your Spanish backgound knowledge...:)))
