Yes - one legal kind are those corner loan stores that have you paying 40% interest, or they take your house, cars, first born, etc.

of course yes. There are always people who need money who can't go to a bank. "loan sharks", predatory lenders, whatever you call it. They loan $$ to the poor people who cant go to the bank, then strongarm them if things turn south.

Yes, there are...unfortunately. Yes, they are illegal and usually NEVER get caught. Use caution because when the money is 'demanded in full' you'd better have it.
