I just had an abbreviated date with a sick women. I offered to re-schedule--she refused. Then I wanted to take her to a doctor because she was really sick- she refused. We did a little shopping and drove around to take care of some errands. I never one time brought up dinner--she put on make-up and she looked great but she was still very sick--so we called it an early evening.
Anyhow we were looking at some eye glasses and she put on some lip gloss in front of a big mirror right in front of me. Oh my god it was amazing,
So on a scale of 1 to 10 with ten high--how much of a flirt is that to put on some lip gloss right in front of your date?
If not in any way a flirtatious behavior--who is she trying to impress while with a date?

Wow stirred up quite a difference of opinons for sure! ;-)
This was the opening act of the date--I blew off half a day of work so I could let her pick me out some glasses. Because you know--I'm clueless ;-)

I've known her for 8 months-never really considered each other until recently--this would have been our 3rd "serious" date.

She was sick with the flu or a really bad cold. What a trooper--I think she was mad that we didn't eat dinner!

well, she couldn't have been very sick if she went shopping and then there's the lip gloss thing. she knew it would be a huge turn-on for you to watch her do this. she's into you and was watching for your reaction.

Firstly, sick people are facing their own mortality and might not be int he right frame of mind or place to date anyone. They are thinging of themselves and their health. I think you will have a lot of heartache dating a sick person, but if you still really like her than go for it. But remember, she is sick, and there are some issues there and her mood will be very up and down depending on how sick she is.

Answering your second question.... lip gloss in front of someone is flirting. It highlights the lips and passsion. It would say it's probably a six or a seven on the flirting scale.

It's okay to put on lip gloss or lip stick in the way of good manners, but anything more should be done in the ladies room!

But what does sick have to do with lip gloss application? Are you saying she was physically sick? Or are you saying she's sick because you were grossed out by her lip gloss applications? Or both?

Impress? To keep her lip gloss on? Maybe she has dry lips and continued with the gloss because she started with it. Give her a break!

She may not have been flirting. She may have just wanted to look nice for herself because she wasn't feeling well. If she was flirting I would say it was maybe a 4. If she was smiling at you or giving you the eye while she was putting the lip gloss on she was definitely flirting. I'd give that a 6. She must have really wanted to be with you if she was that sick. Good for you!

I put on lipstick at least 15 times a day wherever I am, at home, at a restaraunt, in the car, store, etc. I have never thought twice about who was watching me; nor was I ever trying to impress or flirt with anyone. I just like the feel of lipstick on my lips, keeps them from getting chapped and feeling dry.

she obviously likes attention (putting on lip gloss in public, i would go to the restroom)
i wouldn't say she's a big flirt or anything I just think her lips are dry and likes to look pretty
Is this a first date? if it is I just think she really does like u and just didn't want u to think that she didn't like u by telling u to reschedule the date
she obviously was trying to impress you

That is a ZERO - putting on lip gloss is hardly flirting - maybe a bit inconsiderate, she should have done it in private, I would not say that was flirting

I don't think it was meant as a turn on to her she just thought she needed lip gloss it is you, so you like to watch women put make-up on do you.
