It's found almost in every food item (if you check ingridients). I've heard it's really, I mean really bad for you.

High fructrose corn syrup doesn't block your bowels. It is a corn-based sugar that is sweeter than sugar and cheaper than sugar.

The big downside to HFCS is that when consumed it causes a release of insulin, which promotes fat storage -- at least more easily than with table sugar.

So if you are looking to lose body fat, HFCS should definitely be avoided.

Also, since HFCS is rapidly digested, so it leaves you feeling hungry sooner.

While this stuff won't kill you, it certainly has little nutritional benefit. Try to avoid as much as possible.

Men's Health magazine had a good article on HFCS about a year ago, see if you can find the article to learn more about it.

Aside from clogging your arteries and blocking your bowels, you mean. And since 80% of all diseases are caused by blockages in the bowels, I would tend to think, yes this material is bad for you.
