It may be that he is busy. But knowing how guys are he may be trying to clue you in that he is not interested.

Tell him you want to see other people then do it. A boyfriend is not like a friend. Friends know you have other friends - if they don't get back to you right away, you have other options. You are only supposed to have one boyfriend, therefore he should AT LEAST answer his phone and tell you he can't talk at the moment, and that he'll call you back in _ hours (and then call you back when he says). Or, if he can't answer the phone because he's in class or at work, you, as his girlfriend, should know that he is at work or school and therefore why he can't answer. Then he should call you back promptly after. Guys who don't take your phone calls for no apparent reason, and call you back two days later, should never be your boyfriend. That's a f*ck buddy, not a boyfriend. So f*ck him!

To be honest - you sound like you really need to balance your life a little more. Don't hang around waiting for him to pick up that phone. And I hope you love him "to life", not death. If he attends your school - you are probably already seeing him throughout the day. If he is not answering the phones - you know what? He could know it's you. Stop and think. Do you call him too much? Be unavailable sometimes. He probably knows he has your nose wide open.

I would say that you are probably calling him too much, and he is beginning to feel smothered by you. Instead of driving him away from you by calling him too much, take a step back and don't call him at all. Make him come to you. Let him do all the calling for awhile. Men like to chase a girl. Someone who is too available is not going to keep a sexy guy.

Which is it ALWAYS (so he never answers the phone) or SOMETIMES (so SOMETIMES he doesn't answer the phone.
If he never answers the phone, either his phone is broken, your is broken or the relatioship is broken. (OR you just have horrible timing)
If he SOMETIMES doesn't answer the phone ... well SOMETIMES he's probably busy, just like you are and everyone else. SOMETIMES we're sleeping. SOMETIMES we're in class/at work/in church. SOMETIMES we leve our phone on the nightstand while we go to the bathroom.
If SOMETIMES not answering is your complaint you need to cool it and back off. Why does he ALWAYS have to answer his phone? Both he and you should have other things in your life besides each other. This won't take away from your relatioship, it will help strengthen it.
Otherwise if you keep pushing for this immediate attention whenever you demand it, he'll move on to someone less "High-Maintainance".

Sweetie u need to talk to him about it. Ask him y he not answering the phone? If he get a attitude then something aint right. If you all talk about it and he say its nothing and keep doing it. Then something is wrong. Trust me i have been tru the same thing. If he want answer his phone when u call, do the same to him and see how he like it. If u let him keep doing then he will do what he want and will never respect nothing u say or do.

o.k ask him why doesn't he answer the phone. and see if he stumbles over his words and then you should have something to worry... and if you love try to trust him but sometimes i know that is hard ... and dont' take this the wrong way but if he is sexy like you then you should really watch out because you are not the only girl that goes to your school you know.

Leave him alone till it's convenient to return your call. If someone doesn't answer his phone, there could be several reasons: he's really busy, it was not convenient, he had company, you were not giving him enough space. Say to him: "sorry if I called you at the wrong time" and then let him do the calling for a while

Dont stress it, guys hate talking on the phone all the time even if its someone they love. You should just test him if its not that important because me personally i would answer to a text before a call

You say to yourself, he is not home or he is busy. Guys can't always pick up their phone, like if they are playing a BBall game and you want to talk, they love you alot but they can't talk at the moment. Don't take it offensively at all and if you get "bichy" about it it will annoy him. Don't worry bout it.

Don't call him all the time. Let him chase you. Don't call him for a while and keep yourself busy and then you'll find that he's the one calling you if he is interested in you. Let him do the chasing. If you alwyas call him and make yourself available all the tiem, it will turn him off...
