Being "into sports" has no impact on how tall you grow. It's pretty much based on your genes, which you have no choice over. And just because society considers 18 years old to be adult does not mean you are fully grown and matured; you can continue to grow into your early twenties. If you only want to get a little taller, not a lot taller, then why not wear high heels and shoes that boost you up? What's the reason for wanting to be tall anyway? If you have low self esteem and hate the fact you're shorter, people will notice. Enjoy yourself the way you are and it will show positively towards others.

You know, I am very much older than eighteen, and I just want to say that I am also 5'1" tall. I never suffered from being that height. There were always men who just love little packages. Tall ones as well as short ones. Accept your height and do the best with all your other assets and personality. Try and be happy and that will make you shine.
Most young women reach their final height by the time their first menstrual period begins.

Height is genetic. There's really not much you can do to gain in height: either you'll grow some more, or you won't. Best thing is not to worry about it. Eat healthy foods. Take vitamins if it makes you feel better. Sports has nothing to do w/it!!

Well since you're 18 I think you might be done growing. I mean the only thing you can do it wear high heels if you feel lke you want to be taller because surgery and stuff isn't worth it

When a girl reaches 18 it is very rare for her to naturally grow any taller. There are drugs that mess with your pituitary gland but that is usually for youngsters with growth problems.
