Have you tried eHarmony? Had any luck?

Question

I signed up, but because they don't ask for physical preferences, I keep getting chubby guys with goatees. And I live in LA, so there should be plenty of people to choose from! Have you had any luck?

P.S. Chubby is not acceptable to me. It says a lot about the person's education, health and responsibility for himself.

i've had luck with it. and yes you can put down in places what you are looking for. i have down at the bottom of my profile that i'm wanting a partner that's at least 5'9 with an average body build and someone who enjoys working out either at the gym or likes outdoor activities. then once a match reads my profile then can see if they want to start communicating with me or not. and yes i'm very blunt, in fact appearance is always one of my questions. no use in wasting your time and there's if you don't like what they look like. good luck and stick with it :)

I tried it, met some interesting guys, but no one I'd want to live happily ever after with - at least not yet. I'd say expand your search area to more than just LA, you might have better odds. Having said all that, you shouldn't be judging solely on appearance; chubby can become in shape with a little work out & encouragement & goatees come and go. It's what's inside that really counts.

I haven't tried eharmony but, I have tried match.com and all I've gotten are weirdos that want me to commit to them on the first email.
