To admit that no one can prove with absolute certainty the existance or the non-existance of God, and just kind of choose to believe in God, but be open to the fact that you could be wrong? Is there something wrong with that?

haha, I was raised fundamentalist, so trust me, I know what it means to be a Christian. And I don't believe "just in case." I can just see both sides.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Anyone who thinks otherwise has been brainwashed a little too hard as a child. Everyone is free to believe what they wish as long as it makes sense.

No, it contradicts itself.
Someone who is Agnostic suspends belief on all things related to God. Someone who is Christian believes that Christ died for yoru sins. Can't believe both at the same time. What it sounds like is that you are someone who believes in what Christ taught, but you don't hold the Bible as absolute truth.

well to be a true Christian you have to have complete faith in God and try to stay as close to Him spiritually as possible. By saying that you could be wrong you aren't having faith that God is real and you are holding back from a close spiritual connection with Him. So I guess you could do that but if you want true proof of God's existence you should submit yourself to His glory fully instead of having doubt.

I John 5:13 says "these things have I written unto you that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the Son of God" -agnostic means unknowing, so I don't think that line of thinking will work.

There is nothing wrong with being an agnostic theist. You can believe that something exists while still saying that you don't know 100%. It is more intellectually honest.

Nothing wrong with what you described, but it's not Christian.
You have to accept Christ as your savior to be a Christian.
