Does Breath RX work good?

I hear about it so much I don't really get bad breath often but my boyfriend does. If you have used it or use it now does it work good. I don't want to purchase it if it doesn't

Breath RX is about $9.99 for a 16 ounce bottle. The instructions say to use one ounce twice a day so that 16 ounce bottle would last about 8 days. That comes to about $450 a year.

A much cheaper alternative to Breath RX is plain old hydrogen peroxide (get in the drugstore in the brown bottle...16 ounces about $1). A 16 ounce bottle would last about 16 days so that would come to about $22 a year.

Every morning and before bed have your boyfriend brush, floss and use a tongue scraper. Then he should gargle with a mixture of 1/2 ounce of hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 ounce HOT water for about 1/2 minute. Tell him do not to swallow the hydrogen peroxide. Then he should rinse his mouth well in cool water.

During the day, tell him to suck on zinc tablets (like Cold-Eeze)...those kill the bacteria in the mouth that causes bad breath.

Also, tell him to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day...not drinking enough water causes dry mouth which causes more bacteria to grow.

If the above suggestions don't work, then try Breath RX.

Just an FYI - sometimes bad breath is caused by digestive problems or other health issues.

People who suffer from the type of fungal complaint your friend has get relief by eating yoghurt regularly. Another way of removing it is to take colloidal silver (a general antibiotic available over the counter) that kills fungal growths. Good luck, you are obviously a loyal friend so I'm sure that you will find a way to tell her without causing offence.
